LIFE for Kresna Gorge took part at the Early-Career Researcher Conference “The Future of Wild Europe”

12-14 September, 2016- The University of Leeds has hosted “The Future of Wild Europe” Conference. Various lecturers and discussants, academics and practitioners, from all over Europe shared their questions and concerns about if the Rewilding of our continent is possible. Many doctoral students from University of Leeds took part in the discussions.

Fund for Wild Flora and Fauna was represented by Nadya Vangelova- the Coordinator of LIFE for Kresna Gorge in the Rewilding round table. The session was run as a panel discussion. Panelists shared their words about rewilding from their own experience/perspective followed by discussion and debate. 

The President of Iceland was a special guest-lecturer at the Conference.
