56-Survivor is a bird imported from Spain in 2013 and released in Kresna Gorge in March 2014 within the reintroduction project. It adapted well and was permanently present in the area. It was discovered poisoned in March 2017, when almost the entire new colony of the species in Kresna Gorge was extirpated by a poison set in a carcass in attempt to kill wolves. 56-Survivor was found still alive and was successfully cured. It is the only poisoned bird to survive this accident and that is why it was named Survivor.
